High Velocity Ballistics Apparatus

The HVBA-II, exclusively from ICS Laboratories, for purchase by manufactures, researchers, and test laboratories, is designed for testing Industrial, Military and Tactical Response Protective Eyewear. The apparatus can be configured for testing to ANSI, ASTM, CSA, and EN (optional), configurations.
Standard Features include:
- "New" ANSI Z87.1 - goniometric position compliant - accurate placement of the ocular vertex, resulting angular positions 10 mm behind the corneal front.
- Adjustable headform platform; horizontal / vertical traverse and goniometric pivots about each ocular.
- Exclusive continuous bleed valve system insures consistent, repeatable projectile velocities.
- "Through-the-barrel" laser sighting system for pinpoint impact accuracy.
- Precision computer chronograph with operator keypad for ballistics statistical information.
- Operates on standard shop air (100 psig) for velocities to 350 ft/sec or regulated bottled gas (Nitrogen / Helium) for velocities up to 500 ft/sec.
- Full operator safety interlock system.
- Standard ANSI configuration 0.252" smooth bore barrel.
