The ULT-II, exclusively from ICS Laboratories, for purchase by manufactures, researchers, and test laboratories, is designed for testing industrial safety Rx lenses under high velocity ballistic protocols to ANSI Z87.1 requirements. In addition, the apparatus facilitates all required FDA and ANSI Z80 lens
impact tests for dress ophthalmic lenses. In addition to regulatory compliance, the lens tester facilitates research in quantifying impact degradation effects of lens coating formulations.
